Clean Confetti Card

Hello Friends!

I hope you enjoy this tutorial, my first for this blog, for what I like to call the Clean Confetti Card. I don't know about you but I LOVE getting a card in the mail, just not one filled with confetti. I love that whomever sent me the card was thoughtful enough to send me a card in the first place but the confetti gets everywhere. I have found that stuff in some pretty scary places. In fact, I'm pretty sure most people don't like getting confetti/glitter in the mail since that was the idea behind a joke business (shipyourenemiesglitter.com) that went viral practically over night. So that, my friends, is why we have the Clean Confetti Card!
No fallout from this beauty!

Get the tutorial after the jump!

What you will need:
  • Label Love Stamp Set

  •  Artisan Label Punch

  •  Bermuda Bay Stampin' pad

  •  Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker

  •  Stampin' Dimensionals

  •  Tombo Glue

  •  Vellum

  •  Bone Folder

  •  Stampin' Trimmer

  • Whisper White Card stock

  •  5/8 inch Whisper White Organza Ribbon

  • Confetti/glitter/micro beads of your choice

  1. Begin by cutting a piece of ribbon to 7 inches in length. Color the ribbon with your Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write marker or use a colored ribbon of your choice. If coloring set aside to dry.
  2. Cut a sheet of Whisper White card stock in half so that you have two piece that are 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Fold in half to make your card base and burnish fold with bone folder. Set aside.
  3. Take the other half of your card stock and cut it down to make a piece that is 5 inches by 3 3/4 inches. Set aside.
  4. On the left over sheet of Whisper White card stock stamp the image of your choice from the Label Love stamp set( I chose "Happy Birthday to You") in Bermuda Bay and punch out with the Artisan Label Punch.
  5. Take a sheet of your vellum( I used the Sale-a-bration Sheer Perfection Designer Series Vellum) and cut it down to 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. Score each side in 1/4 of an inch. Fold in and burnish. Trim corners at an angle to reduce bulk at the corners.
  6. Take your sheet of Whisper White card stock that is 5 inch by 3 3/4 inches and place it inside the folds of the Vellum. Glue 3 of the four flaps to the back of the card stock.
  7. Pour in your confetti/glitter/micro beads. Glue fourth flap down to seal the confetti in. Shake, Shake, Shake! *just for fun*
  8. Finally you will put together your card by gluing the ribbon around the center of the confetti pouch, longways. Then you can glue or use a Stampin' Dimensional to attach your label. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere your confetti pouch to the card base.
  9. Don't forget to stamp a cute image on your envelope if you are mailing it!

I hope you love this card as much as I do!
